What is an Endoscopic Sleeve, or EndoSleeve?
This is an interventional endoscopy technique which consists in reducing the volume of the stomach by placing stitches using a suture system located at the end of an endoscope.
Which patients are eligible for this technique?
- Patients who are overweight or obese
- Patients with morbid obesity who are resistant to or have a contraindication for surgery
- Super-obese patients awaiting obesity surgery
- Patients for whom obesity surgery has failed (sleeve or bypass).
